Protective film for furniture and other goods

Protective film used to protect furniture and other goods can be sorted in PMD. Large films should be cut into smaller pieces of no more than one square metre. Larger films interfere with the processes in the sorting centres. Large plastic films can sometimes be collected at the recycling park of your municipality. Please note: such films are only welcome in the PMD bag if you need to sort them as a consumer. Pallet films and other large films that are released in large quantities in business contexts should be collected via a separate waste stream through your waste operator.
