Plastic straps around parcels or boxes

Plastic straps are often used around boxes to protect products. These can go in the PMD bag. Are they quite long, say longer than one meter? Then it is recommended that you cut them slightly smaller so that they do not block the sorting machines at the sorting center.

Please note that this is only applicable if you, as a consumer, need to sort these straps occasionally. However, do you have a lot of plastic straps to throw away in a business context? Then these do not belong in the PMD bag. Contact your private waste collector, who provides a separate waste stream for this.
