Plastic nursery pot
for plants, flowers or herbs

Empty nursery pots and trays used for plants and flowers are examples of plastic household packaging and belong in the PMD bag. Please note: Do not stack the pots! This will prevent them from being sorted correctly at the sorting centre and they will not be recycled afterwards. This waste stream is separated from the rest using compressed air. When you stack flower pots, they become too heavy to be sorted correctly using compressed air.
Please note that plastic decorative pots are not packaging and cannot be recycled via the PMD bag. If they are still usable, give these away or bring them in to a thrift shop.
