Plastic bags for sand, cement and other building materials

Plastic bags in which sand, cement and other building materials are packed may be sorted in PMD. They are Plastic packaging (the P of PMD) that can be recycled provided they are clean and contain no product residues. Larger bags are best cut into smaller pieces of no more than one square metre. Bags that are larger interfere with the processes in the sorting centres. With larger bags and larger quantities, you can sometimes go to your local recycling park.
