Plastic bags for sand, cement and other building materials

As a private individual, you can sort plastic bags used to package sand, cement and other construction materials with your PMD waste.

These are plastic packaging items (the P in PMD) that can be recycled, provided they are clean and no longer contain any product residue. Larger bags should be cut into smaller pieces of no more than one square metre. Bags larger than that disrupt the processes in the sorting centres. For large bags or larger quantities, you can as a private individual also go to your municipal recycling centre.
