Drinks cans

Cans of coke, beer, energy drinks, etc. Many kinds of drinks are sold in aluminium cans. Drinks cans are examples of metal packaging (the M in PMD) and therefore, when empty, they belong in the PMD bag. Please note: Some cans are made of plastic but have an aluminium lid. This type of composite packaging is too complex, so it belongs in the residual waste.
